Welcome back to the 2017 school year. A special welcome to all the new families in our school, especially parents of our Kindergarten children who are joining our school community for the first time.

All classrooms in the school, including the Kindergarten, are fitted with interactive whiteboards. Technology is used right across the school to enhance the learning programs we offer.

As an Independent Public School we are due to complete our second three year Business Plan this year.  I look forward to working with the Marmion School Board, staff and parents as we review the current Business Plan and develop the new 2018-2020 Business Plan. This document will set the future directions for our school.

‘Strive to learn’ is our school motto. All staff aim to inspire student growth in the academic, physical, artistic and social domains. Our school has a strong focus on providing students with the knowledge, skills and values to create sustainable living.

The strong level of support provided to staff and students by parents and the wider community is a feature of the school. Student learning is facilitated when students see their parents demonstrating their support and interest in their education through active participation in class, school and school community events.

If you would like to know more about this wonderful school, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Visitors are most welcome and school tours will enable you to meet some of the friendly staff and wonderful students.

Kind regards

Ian Herbert
